What’s Happening This Year?

Denver Restaurant Week, it’s back and better than ever! Abrusci’s is joining the hundreds of restaurants in the 15th annual Denver Restaurant week with delectable flavors showcased at affordable prices. This year, the 10 day special priced menu is Feb. 22-March 3rd, 2019. Restaurants are continuing with the offering multi-course dinners for tiered prices that was started last year.

The Back Story

It started in 2005, offering dinner for $52.80 a couple to dine at local restaurants. This amount is a spin off of Denver’s elevation, 5,280 feet.

“We started Denver Restaurant Week along with our partners to celebrate the city’s culinary scene” said Richard Scharf, president and CEO of Visit Denver, in a press statement.

Last year, the tiered prices for one person, either $25, $35 or $45, was a hit, so they decided to go with this structure this year too. It gives restaurants a way to feature a variety of dishes including more pricy ones.

Why Participate?

Since there is a set pricing structure, it’s a great way to try out new restaurants without breaking the bank and at whatever price you want to spend. It’s also a way to discover a restaurant’s best dish or enjoy a new dish that isn’t normally offered. Your taste buds will definitely thank you!

What to look forward to this year

Each restaurant designs a menu that showcases its best flavors and talent.

“Denver Restaurant Week has evolved into one of the most celebrated – and certainly the most anticipated – culinary events in the city.” said Scharf
